Aangan is a fourteen-year-old design practice in Indiranagar. We draw every home ourselves, build the woodwork in our own workshop, and hand over on a promised date — with a bill of quantities you can actually read.
Aangan began in 2012 as two drawing boards in a Malleshwaram garage, with one conviction: an Indian home deserves to be designed around how its family actually lives — where the morning filter coffee happens, where grandparents nap, where festival lamps will sit in October. We still open every project by spending an evening with the family, not the floor plan.
Today the studio runs its own carpentry workshop in Hoskote, employs its site engineers on payroll rather than subcontract, and finishes about forty homes a year. We work slowly by industry standards and say no often — because every commission is drawn, detailed and warranted under one roof.
