Ring · solitaire, six-prong setting

Incl. of all taxes (GST)No-cost EMI from ₹48,500/mo
Each Lumière piece begins at seven in the morning, when the ateliers face east and the first light crosses the setting bench. We cut, set and polish only by that hour’s standard — the one no showroom can imitate.

Carat, colour, clarity, cut. For seventy years the trade has recited them like a catechism, and for seventy years they have described the certificate rather than the stone. A diamond does not live on paper. It lives on a hand at a dinner table, under candlelight, at eleven at night — and the certificate says nothing about that hour.
At Lumière we grade twice. Once in the laboratory, by the numbers, because the numbers are owed to you. And once at dawn, on the east bench, where our setters have judged stones since 1931. A stone that performs at 7 a.m. — cold light, no flattery — will perform anywhere. Perhaps one stone in forty passes the second grading.
So we permit ourselves a different alphabet. Candeur, the honesty of a stone that shows its nature at first glance. Cadence, the rhythm of its fire as the wrist turns. Caresse, how the mounting meets the skin — a setting should be felt the way a well-cut jacket is felt, which is to say hardly at all.
And last, Continuité: the promise that the piece outlives its first owner gracefully. Every Lumière jewel is built to be unset, re-set, resized and re-imagined by the atelier for as long as the maison stands. The fourth C, in the end, is ours to keep.
Bring us a stone, an heirloom, or only an intention. Over three private appointments — sketch, wax, and first fitting — the atelier composes a jewel that belongs to no collection and to one person. Commissions open twice a year; autumn appointments are now being taken.
