GRAPHITE SLEEVEMost loudspeakers are tuned by committee until they flatter a showroom. The M1 is corrected in an anechoic chamber until its output is indistinguishable from the input, then verified again in-room with 96-point spatial averaging.
The A76 amplifier that drives it carries a dual-mono power supply on separate toroids, a DC-coupled signal path with no capacitors in series with the music, and a protection circuit that engages in 90 microseconds without ever sitting inside the audio path.
