Why we built it
We asked 240 parents what happened to their first high chair.
It is sized for a six-month-old.
A low moulded seat sits well below the table.
No footplate height, no seat depth.
So we drew a chair with nine seat steps.
Five years, one chair
Seat at its highest, harness on, tray fitted.
Tray off, chair pushed in.
The footplate becomes a stair.
Unbolt the webbing and keep it in the box.
Take the front rail off.
Seat at its lowest step.

Everything that moves, moves on the same pair of rails.
Five points of cotton-canvas webbing meeting at one two-handed buckle. All five unbolt with the hex key at around two and a half years, and go back on just as easily.
