What we do

Services & fees

Monthly fees at stated group sizes; the first month includes a ₹200 listening session adjusted against your fee if you join. Instruments for class use are the school's; your own instrument, when you are ready for one, is bought by you at a shop of your choice — we advise, we do not sell.

Before you ask

Questions we get

Which class for an adult absolute beginner?

Vocal beginners or harmonium, honestly — both give you swar. Come for the ₹200 listening session first: we hear you hum, you hear a class in progress, and if we think you would be happier at a lighter-music class we say so before taking a fee.

Are the exams compulsory?

No. The Gandharva Mahavidyalaya ladder is there for students who want a structured syllabus and a certificate with weight — many of our best students climb it, some never touch it. When you do take an exam, you register with the Mandal and pay them directly; our add-on is only the preparation.

My child wants film songs, not raags. Do you mind?

Not at all — that is what the keyboard-and-guitar class is for, and we teach it without treating it as a lesser room. What we will not do is promise a reality-show audition or a playback career. We teach music; the industry is not ours to promise.
