Our Story

Started by a dog who hated haircuts

Waggletail began in 2017 with Laddoo — founder Sanika's indie rescue who trembled at every salon in Pune. So she built the salon she couldn't find: no cages, no leash-yanking, no assembly-line grooming. Just warm water, soft tables, patient hands and however long a nervous pet needs.

Nine years on, we're a full pet-care campus in Koregaon Park — salon, spa, cage-free boarding suites, a daycare lawn and a visiting vet. Laddoo has retired to a supervisory role. He inspects every haircut and is paid entirely in chicken.
